I love using Zoo Med Eco Earth in baby sulcata enclosures as well as humid boxes to keep the humidity up. Eco Earth can get dusty when dry, however as a whole it’s one of the best substrates for sulcatas.
Eco Earth is made of fine-grained coconut fibers. It stimulates digging behaviors and maintains humidity.
My absolute favorite way to use Eco Earth is to layer it underneath mulch or Forest Bedding or ReptiChips, which helps maintain moisture but keep the dust and particles down.
